New Wines Just Released

Holiday season is around the corner and we have been expanding our inventory to meet the needs of wine lovers. New vintages of old favorites have been bottled: Storybook, Speedway Sweet, and Castle Grigio. Zuckerwein is in the tank as of this writing, getting oaked and will be ready in a few weeks. Other new additions include 3 fruit wines we acquired from Annelise Winery when they recently closed.

Holiday Sip & Dip Nov 13

Mark your calendar for our Holiday Sip & Dip on Saturday, November 13. This event is all about food and wine! We’ve invited local vendors to participate with food items they make and include bakery, cheese, and dips. We will not only offer wine, but our wine bread and hot mulled wine. Wine and food pairings will be available during the event. Hours for the Sip & Dip is 10am to 3pm. This will be a wonderful opportunity to get holiday food and ideas to serve guests and family.

Customer Experience at Oregon Wineries

Mike and I traveled to the Willamette Valley in Oregon in October. The Valley is very beautiful and boasts of over 500 wineries and 7 AVAs (American Viticulture Area) in the region just southwest of Portland. We visited a handful of wineries in 2 days, most all specialize and well known for Pinot Noir. The tasting rooms we went to required reservations, masks, and limited seated service only. Prices for a tasting varied from $25 to $55 and typically waived if a bottle or two were purchased. The least expensive bottle of Pinot Noir we found was at ROCO Winery for $25. Prices went up from there.
